A bill is being drafted by Democratic Senator Rockefeller of WV that will give the President the power to seize control of the internet and the servers of private persons and corporations during a cyber attack. The bill does not specify what type of attack. Essentially, this will give the Executive Branch the power to investigate any person or company in the United States based on loosely defined definitions of what a cyber attack actually entails. If the NRA sends a email to someone who complains that they did not want an email from the NRA, will the government then seize the NRA's servers?

If the second amendment guarantees the right to build a fallout shelter, than wouldn't the items required to stock that shelter be guranteed as well? My example of this contradiction is that antibiotics may be necessary in a crisis, national catastrophe and many life saving drugs that would be needed cannot be stockpiled legally. Ear medicine for infants is another example. If every family was allowed to have a "real" first aid kit with infection killing drugs, or effective pain killers much stronger than aspirin or ibuprofin there may be less panic and worry in the mass populous. But the problem is, nobody is thinking about these things. When something does happen, and every family is cut off from the pharmacy or the grocery store, the federal government is not going to be there. The scariest misconception from most of the general public is that the government will hold there hand in a crisis. The truth is we will be on our own, left alone to stave off the hoards of the unprepared.
